Halox has acquired the Irgacor organic
corrosion inhibitor business for the
paint and coatings market from
Ciba Specialty Chemicals. The purchase
complements the existing
Halox line of inorganic inhibitors.
The acquisition includes patents,
manufacturing technology, associated
research and development data,
and web site, www.corrosioninhibitors.
com. The new products
will be marketed under Halox
names.
